i2i Payment Authorization Agreement

Effective Date:  August 19, 2026

By saving a payment method to your i2i Account, you agree to this Payment Authorization Agreement. This agreement governs how we handle your payment information and process payments on behalf of your chosen Service Provider.

Authorization to Store Your Payment Method, Chargeback Waiver, and HIPAA Acknowledgment

You authorize i2i LLC (“i2i,” “we,” or “us”) and our third-party payment processor (currently Stripe, Inc.) to securely store and use your payment method information (the “Payment Method”) for the purpose of paying for any and all fees you incur in connection with your chosen Service Provider on the i2i Platform. This includes, but is not limited to, copayments, deductibles, coinsurance, session fees, and any other financial obligations for which you are responsible.

You acknowledge that if your Service Provider assesses no-show or late cancellation fees, it is your Service Provider’s responsibility to communicate those specific financial policies to you. You authorize your Payment Method to be charged in accordance with those policies. You expressly agree that reserving a dedicated time slot on a Service Provider’s calendar constitutes the immediate delivery of administrative booking services. Consequently, charges processed for scheduled appointments, late cancellations, or no-show fees pursuant to your Service Provider’s policy constitute authorized, fully earned, and valid transactions for services rendered. You hereby irrevocably waive any right to initiate a credit card chargeback, payment dispute, or reversal with your card issuer on the basis of ‘services not rendered,’ ‘unauthorized transaction,’ ‘cancelled transaction,’ or any similar grounds for any properly assessed session, no-show, or late cancellation fee.

Furthermore, you acknowledge that upon your initiation or submission of an appointment request, your payment information is processed by i2i on behalf of your Service Provider and becomes part of their secure financial record, governed by the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) and i2i’s Business Associate Agreement (BAA).

Welcome to i2i. Our platform is dedicated to bridging the gap between patients seeking mental health support and the professionals providing it. To foster a safe, reliable, and respectful marketplace, every user must strictly adhere to these shared standards.

Authorization for Automatic Card Updates

To ensure uninterrupted service and prevent payment failures, you acknowledge and agree that i2i may participate in recurring update services offered by the card networks (such as Visa’s Account Updater or Mastercard’s Automatic Billing Updater). Through these services, your financial institution may automatically provide our payment processor with updated card information (such as a new card number or expiration date) if your stored card is replaced or expires. By agreeing to these terms, you authorize us to update your Payment Method with any new information provided by your financial institution and to continue charging the updated card in accordance with this agreement.

Authorization for Pre-Authorization Holds

You understand and agree that, to verify the validity of your Payment Method and the availability of funds, i2i may, on behalf of your Service Provider, initiate a temporary pre-authorization hold on your card prior to a scheduled appointment.

  • This is a temporary hold, not a permanent charge.
  • The hold may be for a small amount (e.g., $1.00) or for the estimated amount of your financial responsibility for the upcoming session (e.g., your copayment or deductible).
  • The hold will be released in accordance with the policies of your card-issuing bank, typically within a few business days.

Your Responsibilities, Chargeback Remedies, and Collections

You are responsible for maintaining current and accurate payment information in your i2i Account. If your payment information changes, you agree to promptly update your account. You acknowledge that if your Payment Method is declined or if you initiate an unjustified chargeback, you remain fully responsible for all payments due for legitimately rendered clinical services, reserved time slots, or applicable cancellation fees.

Initiating a fraudulent, bad-faith, or improper chargeback with your card issuer constitutes a material breach of this Agreement. In the event of an improper chargeback or payment reversal, you agree that i2i or your Service Provider may:

  • Charge you an administrative processing fee of up to $50.00 (or the maximum allowed by law) to cover merchant bank penalty fees and administrative costs;
  • Immediately suspend or terminate your i2i Account and block future platform access; and
  • Pursue direct collection efforts, civil litigation, or third-party collection agency reporting for any outstanding balances, administrative fees, collection costs, and reasonable attorneys’ fees.

Revoking Your Authorization

You may revoke this Payment Authorization at any time by removing your Payment Method from your i2i Account. Revoking this authorization will not affect any charges or pre-authorizations that were processed before your authorization was revoked, nor does it release you from financial responsibility for fees incurred prior to revocation.
